This long-lived, easy perennial grows to 2-4 feet, attracts butterflies, and puts on a beautiful show in the late summer garden. We currently offer the following cultivars (see photos at left):

• 'Doubledecker' (Doppeldecker) -- Red-purple petals with a second set on top of the cone. Very unusual! Introduced by Jelitto Seed Company in 2004.
• 'Primadonna Deep Rose' -- Large, lavender-rose flowers 5-6 inches in diameter.
• 'Starlight' (Leuchtstern) -- Carmine-rose flowers are 3 inches across and held horizontally above the stems.
• 'White Swan' -- White petals with orange-green cone. Very elegant.
• 'Baby Swan White' -- A compact version of 'White Swan' introduced in 2005. Grows up to 20 inches, and flowers earlier than other Echinacea purpurea cultivars.
